मासाचुसेट्समा “भूटनिज ट्रस्ट अफ मासाचुसेट्स”को स्थापना

अमेरिकाको उत्तर पूर्बी राज्य मासाचुसेट्सका पुनस्थापित भूटानीहरुद्वारा समुदायका सदस्यहरुमा आइपर्ने समस्याहरु र त्यसको दिर्घकालिन समाधानका बारेमा २३ अगस्त २००९का गरिएको छलफलमा एउटा आफ्नै सामाजिक संस्था खोल्ने निष्कर्षका साथ प्रेस बिज्ञाप्ती निकाली पुनः ३० अगस्तका दिन अर्को भेला डाकिएको थियो। त्यहा स्थापित एक अग्रज भुटानि राम कुमार कोइरालाको अध्याक्षतामा वहाँकै निवासमा सम्पन्न त्त्यस भेलाले सोही दिन “भुटनिस ट्रस्ट अफ मासाचुसेट्स” नामक एक गैर-राजनैतिक संघठनको औपचारिक स्थापनको घोसणा गरेको छ।

संस्थाको अद्यक्ष्यमा हरी खनाल र उप-अध्यक्षमा नारायण अधिकारी मनोनय गरिएको छ। त्यसै गरी सो भेलाले ६ सदसीय कार्यकारिणी समितिको पनी चयन गरेको छ
। उक्त भेलाले भेलास्थलमा के के गरेछ? सो प्रेस बिज्ञाप्ती हेर्नुस्।

A non profit social organization called “Bhutanese Trust of Massachusetts” (BTM) is formally declared in a meeting organized by the resettled Bhutanese families of Springfield, West Springfield and Westfield in the US states of Massachusetts. The organization was declared after a deliberate discussion in the meeting chaired by senior refugee Mr. Ram Kumar Koirala in his residence at 38 Riverdale Street, West Springfield.

The meeting also formed a six member executive committee comprising two representatives each from Springfield, West Springfield and Westfield respectively. The meeting nominated Mr. Hari Khanal and Mr. Narayan Adhikari from Springfield as the President and the chief Secretary, Mr. Hari Ghorsai and Ms. Loki Khatiwora of Westfield as Treasurer and Secretary for Information and Public Relation, and Mr. Agur Gurung and Mrs. Mangali Gurung of West Springfield as Secretaries for Program Implementation and Management and Press and Publicity Affairs respectively.

Earlier the meeting unanimously passed and resolved the policy guideline and declaration of the organization presented by Hari Khanal. The policy guideline incorporated most of the programs and policies of implementation including electoral procedure and formation and disillusion of the executive committee of organization.

The proposed amount of monthly collection for providing help to the member families in future also collected for the month of September during the meeting and handover to the treasurer Mr. Ghorsai. A sum of 280 dollars from all 28 families of the cities was collected during the meeting. Monthly collection will be continued in the same manner and will be deposited to support the Bhutanese families at the time of their difficulties.

The meeting agreed to keep the door open and decided to appeal for all the Bhutanese residents settled in other cities of the state to join the organization and help bring the unity among the Bhutanese throughout the state. The meeting was attended by around 35 resettled Bhutanese.

हामीले संस्थाका बारेमा थप जानकारी लिन नव गठित संस्थाका अद्यक्ष्य हरी खनालसँग संपर्क गर्ने प्रयास गरेका थियौ तर वहाँको ब्यस्तताका कारणले हामी सफल हुन सकेनौ।  भेला स्थलमा नै धेरै राम्रो कामको सुरुवत भएको देखियो र निस्चय पनि यस संस्था र त्यहा भित्रका सदस्यहरुका तर्फबाट  मासाचुसेट्सका भुटानिहरुलाई सहयोग मिलोस र अन्य स्थानका भुटानिहरुलाई एउटा नमुना बनोस।  भौतिक र बैचारिक सहयोग मात्र नभएर भुटानिहरु प्रती हुने गरेको आक्रमणको बिभिन्न अमेरिकी केन्द्रहरुमा गइ बुलन्द आवाजमा बिरोध जनाउदै त्यहाका स्थापित भुटानिहरुलाई शान्तीको आभास दिलाहोस। शुभकामना ।
