(Oct.30) An Earth quake of 5.2 magnitude on Richter scale shook eastern part of Bhutan once again on Thursday, according to the online news portals from Bhutan and India . With the epicenter around Mongar-Trashigang border, its effect was felt even in some places of Northern India.
The quake occurred at 10:45 PM and lasted for around 10 to 15 minutes jerking houses and panicking the residents. However, no destruction and casualties have been reported as yet.
Bhutan experienced a terrible quake measuring 6.3 Richter scale last month on 23rd September that claimed the lives of 12 Bhutanese citizens leaving hundreds of other homeless.
